Meet James

Since becoming a head chef at the tender age of 21, my love for food and the craft of cooking remains undiminished. During my career I’ve worked with some of the UK’s best chefs at the very highest level in internationally renowned restaurants – including many with michelin stars. I’ve developed the intimate knowledge and passion needed to be Chef Patron of a fine dining restaurant to the specific skills needed for Consultancy Head Chef positions in the most demanding kitchens and restaurants.

My guide throughout has been a simple, passionate love of food and the nurturing of the skills needed to turn ingredients into dishes that genuinely delight. This enthusiasm and expertise has won me accolades in magazines, guides, books, TV and most importantly, a loyal clientele and a respected reputation throughout the country. Successes include winning the regional final on the TV series Great British Dish - The Chefs, placing 5th overall of over 100 head chefs. I’ve most recently been involved in creating a fine dining restaurant in North Yorkshire, gaining rave reviews and a devoted following.
